We're a little confused about Bran's first weakness. You say that it hurts for him to open his eyes. Why is that? One would assume that, pain or not, in a threat situation if he can see he would open his eyes to fully percieve the situation. Also, you say that he relies on hearing and smell. This is a little concerning because all too often someone making a blind (or as good as) character rely on their other senses is essentially their way of getting the character to see without eyes. Obviously this negates the weakness entirely.
If you could elaborate on this a bit more, we would appreciate it.
